Nice to be on board! I'm an Israeli doctoral student in political philosophy
at Oxford, working on an anarchist theory of democracy. Much of it is
inspired and informed by what I've been encountering as an activist in our
blessedly ultra-democratic structures, with all their strengths and
limitations. But since the work is very theoretical I am perhaps not so
susceptible to the dilemmas posited by "researching my own compañer@s"!
Activism-wise I've been working on the (in)famous European Social Consulta
and on international coordination of direct action in Palestine/Israel - plus
far too much summit-hopping for my own good (and for the good of my thesis...)
Looking forward to the exchange. The next message I'll shortly post is a call
for contributions to a book I'm editing.
